Joeytse 04-06-2008, 12:13 AM Pardon my ignorance...how come there are 10 holes in these spacers? Wouldn't you only need 5 per wheel for an e36?
Thanks.
joey
M3@Apex 04-06-2008, 02:35 AM Those look great. Been looking for 3MM spacers for a while. Do you really need new bolts for the 3MM spacers? And do you have black bolts?
Thanks

3mm spacers upfront do not require longer bolts.

The spacers are dual drilled 5x120, this can make mounting wheels easier as there are two options for lining up the bolt pattern with the hub / wheel.

Can I get a response to my question please? I'm thinking of running them on the rear.
ECS Tuning 04-07-2008, 03:59 PM Sorry I missed your question above. While yes, you can run the 3mm spacers with stock bolts, it's highly advised to use longer bolts, especially if being used on a car that sees track time.
In regards to the bolts, unfortunately we do not offer black bolts, just the silver finish currently.
Digitalwave 04-27-2008, 10:26 PM I just ordered 2 pairs of spacers; these things look beautiful.

2DYE4 05-12-2008, 01:16 PM will the 10mm spacers sit flush against the hub?
ECS Tuning 05-12-2008, 04:11 PM Yes, the 10mm spacers will sit flush against the hub, it's necessary for them to sit flush for proper mounting.

i'd say run a 10mm since you have a wider tire up front.
wanna sell me those 7mm if you have them ? :D

All good, never hurts to ask. The rears would be purely for aesthetic purposes so I was hoping to get a pricebreak since it's not a MUST. I'll be calling in my order for the 10mm spacers/lugs sometime this morning. Thx for the reply!
PS: How much for 2nd day air to 98188?
ECS Tuning 06-03-2008, 08:28 AM Thanks for the comments everyone, we will continue with the current pricing on these for awhile.
2nd Day Air to 98188 for a set of 10mm with bolts would be $22.66 (roughly $8 more than ground). Thanks again and we will look forward to your order!

I would like to know too before I place an order.
JackEatsEmoKids 06-08-2008, 04:14 PM No E39 spacers? =(
braindamage 06-09-2008, 01:32 PM Anyone knows if the 10mm spacers will work on Kosei K1?
ECS Tuning 06-09-2008, 03:03 PM Unfortunately I do not think these will work with the Kosei wheels. I know most Kosei wheels have issues with spacers on the VW platform due to the chamfer on the center bore of the wheel.
I don't have a set of Kosei wheels around to test fit them on, but I'm pretty sure they will have issues without some modification. If you would like to take a photo of the center bore of the wheel and email it to us, I'd be happy to take a look, sometimes that is enough to tell if they will work or not.

Well...here are photos of the back of the Kosei K1. Not sure if you can tell the 10mm spacer will fit.
Digitalwave 06-15-2008, 11:04 PM I don't think the chamfer is large enough.
ECS Tuning 06-16-2008, 09:38 AM Yea, from those photos, I highly doubt the chamfer is deep / large enough to get a hubcentric lip spacer in there totally flush. Unfortunately I don't think they will work...

Roguls 06-20-2008, 02:09 PM Are you going to/do you have available spacers that will mate e39 wheels to the e36? Probably 20mm with the back of the hub with the ~72mm bore and the wheelcentric side with the ~74mm bore (I hope this makes sense).
That would make for a very nice product, and would allow me to consider e39 wheels (I don't like the idea of a hubcentric ring...).
Probably no...but it would be awesome if you did...

I don't think anybody will ever do that for 2 reasons:
1) an E39 wheel, which is already low offset for an E36, will not fit an E36 with 20mm spacers. You would have an ~ET0 wheel on a car that usually run ET40+.
2) you can use a 20mm spacer and then a hubcentric ring, which is only about $20-30 for the set, to fit E39 wheels on an E36. there is no need for a custom spacer to make an E39 wheel fit on an E36 (if you really wanted to run ET0 wheels). Or you can run the wheels without a spacer, as they already sit farther out than normal E36 wheels by about an inch, and just use a hubcentric ring.
polo12345 06-21-2008, 01:58 PM hmm i'm probably gonna be ordering a set of 15mm or 20mm spacers for the rear because I ended up needing to use my 12.5mm spacers for the front to clear my fk coilovers...I did a stud conversion on my car do you guys think it's safe to run some 20mm spacers in the rear? I have rolled/pulled rear fenders I was running 17.5mm spacers but not flush enough for me. ehhh yeah It probably is haahah oh and uhh any discounts for returning customers? hehe or at least some stickers for the next set I order? :shifty

As long as the studs are long enough, you shouldn't have any issue running spacers with them. You will want to have at least 7.5 turns left though, so just double check that beforehand. You may need some longer studs depending on how wide you go with the spacers.
Give us a call or send me a PM when you are ready to place your next order, we should certainly be able to get some free stickers in there.
Thanks again for the orders everyone!

BimmerMan3 06-30-2008, 09:09 AM i have gc coilover, wilwood bbk and 17" ccw classics w. stock size/offsets. what size would you recommend for the front. 225-40-17 tire.
ECS Tuning 06-30-2008, 12:27 PM Since each setup differs just slightly, we suggest measuring to get the wheels exactly where you want them. If spacers are not needed for clearance, it becomes a personal preference as to where you would like the wheels to sit in relation to the fender.
If you would like the face of the wheel flush with the fender, use a straight edge to come down from the edge of the fender across the face of the wheel. Next, measure out from the face of the wheel to the edge of the straight edge being used. 1" = 25.4mm and spacer sizes can be determined from your measurements.
A few others that have run a similar setup might also be able to chime in on what the perfect offsets are with the setup you are running.

ECS Tuning 07-17-2008, 08:03 AM Hey there! Really the best way to determine sizes is by measuring. Each application can be slightly different because of suspension, tire size, etc..
I mentioned the measuring process up a few posts, but using someone else that has a similar setup is also a good option.
