So the other day when i was coming home from work my lights started to dim and eventually went out before making it to a off ramp. It was still running but no electrical power. once i stopped it died completely and made a clicking sound when i tried to start it. Turns out the alternator was bad an i had been running off the battery. I replaced both but still have the same problem. What else can i check before taking it in to have the wiring looked at?

So you replaced the alternator and the battery and it still won't start? First make sure all your connections are good on the new parts, then I'd check the fuse box and fuses, and then test the relays.
