Vic@EuroDyne 04-02-2008, 08:59 PM how much do these weigh, say in 18"?
As of right now, Linea Corse is not going to be creating a mold in 18 inches. Because of that, I wouldn't know how much it will weigh in 18s. But if we can round some troops in and show to them there is a demand, we can get them thinking to produce these in 18s!

The Z2S is hot! I'll have a meeting with Linea tomorrow and bring this up! Most likely they'll say yes with an initial GB of ten people interested with a $200 deposit as well for each enthusiast!
NollieStylz 04-02-2008, 09:10 PM 18 inch, E36 M3 offsets please. :)

how long will it take for these if we get 10 people?
Vic@EuroDyne 04-03-2008, 02:21 AM how long will it take for these if we get 10 people?
If we're given a go signal, it'll take about two-three months including delivery Stateside. The process begins with mold processing, testing, manufacturing, then shipment. It's pretty much starting from scratch.
Vic@EuroDyne 04-03-2008, 02:23 AM 18 inch, E36 M3 offsets please. :)
If you can help me round up the troops of 10 E36Ms, I'm positive it can be done!

I can definitely make a thread on another section that links to this thread. You want the requests for 18" E36 M3 offset wheels to be posted here?

Just spoke with higher ups of Linea Corse. They said they have plans of doing the 18 inch mold, but not any time soon due to unforeseen technicalities. No deadline has been made either. I do apologize, but from the looks of it, not even 10 brave E36Mers will convince them to this anytime soon. :(

Vic@EuroDyne 04-04-2008, 02:59 AM Just spoke to the higher ups of Linea Corse! Guess what? The E39 Gods are rewarding us for good behavior!!! They're opening up the E39 Offset with just the 6 enthusiasts we have here! They've been checking out our speedy progress and excitement! I just sent to them a $1200 check, and it's on!
For those who haven't joined, it's still not too late! Be one of the first to get these direct fitment E39 19 inch Lemans!!!!
Let the countdown begin for these wheels to go stateside!

With you and 9 other willing enthusiasts, we can set up a separate list! :D
Ive been looking for these type of wheels. Id like to know the weight also and what tires will cost approximately.
Look no further! :D This is your chance! As for weight, I can't make a guaranteed guestimate since the wheels have not been produced yet. Currently the high offset lemans that are available weigh 24lbs fronts/27lbs rear. Just to give you an idea, low offset versions tend to be heavier. Tires? I suggest going for 245/35/19 and 275/30/19.

From the best of my knowledge...the hub bore of an e38 is 72.56 and the e39 is at 74.1mm...u'd need a hub ring to work it...and also the offset for both platforms are somewhat identical, so u wouldn't have to worry about that =)...

Jo@EuroDyne 05-27-2008, 03:38 PM I decided to stay with the original idea. Lock me into the 19" Hyper Black. Which offset are these on the E46 M3?
Alright. Here are the following fitments available for both Hypersilver and Hyperblack...
Fronts:
19x8.5 ET30 on both colors
Rears:
19x10 ET37 or ET22 on the Hypersilver
19x10 ET37 on the Hyperblack
The Hypersilver will be direct fit. The Hyperblack will require a 10 mil spacer for your rears.
Is the color more important or the direct fitment? Let me know! Thanks!

lol, yes mid july =)...
would you have to run a spacer on a 03 M5?....and whats offset for one?
well the e39 fitment that i specially ordered will not need spacers if u plan on doing a semi aggressive stance...the ET will be 15 for the fronts and 25 for the rear...others might want to be more aggressive by adding a 5 mil spacer for the rear...=)
I am interested in a set of 19" LMs for my E39. However I'm apprehensive to join in on the group buy without seeing them fitted to an E39 first. So I've a couple of questions if you don't mind! :)
1) Have you found any pictures of E39s with these reps? Or are these a brand new LM rep?
2) When you receive the first batch of wheels, will there be a faster turnaround for future orders? In otherwords, when someone posts pics of them here on their E39 and I like them and want to buy them, will I be able to without having to wait a couple of months?
Regards,
Richard

I don't mind at all!
1. No pictures yet since these Lemans have not been made to directly fit the E39 =)...they are coming soon though!
2. Linea Corse, to the best of my knowledge, has an intense waiting list. Manufacturing cannot keep up with the demand! Even with the other chassis platforms having high offset, they've got people waiting all the way to mid July. So to answer you're question, I'd suggest to pre-order if waiting will be an issue for you...But I do hear you about being apprehensive on items not yet of existence, who in their right mind wouldn't doubt it at first? Thing is I have an intense amount of confidence on Lineas for its track record with its previous line ups! =)...It's parent company has been in business since the 70's!
Thanks for the response. PM sent. :)

Black528i 07-16-2008, 02:05 PM I just got 2 of my wheels today and all I can say is that the pictures do these wheels no justice. Once the other two arrive, I'll post pictures as well. The craftsmanship mirrors that of my ACS wheels. If anyone is holding out to buy these, don't wait; it's totally worth it!
PS I am not a paid celebrity but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

I'm quite happy for you Joe! You do have a great set of wheels!!! What more when you get the other two! LOL...
P.S. I'm no paid celebrity either hehehe...
where are they at then :shifty
You know where were at =)...theyre waiting for you to pick up.
What's your take on how the finish will hold up in the winter??
First and foremost, I wouldn't suggest 19 inch wheels in the snow for safety reasons...I'm sure it'll hold up but what about the pebbles that get stuck in the snow? The salt that can corrode even factory paint? With that being said, as long as you wash it off with water, it should be fine...but I wouldn't see myself washing my car in the middle of winter.
andrezbim 07-17-2008, 09:34 AM Have had bad experiences with clear coated wheels vs. powder coated. Even if not driven in snow - just the salt on the roads here in Ohio can eat up a set of wheels in one winter. A second coat of clear can help. Powder coating seems durable enough to make it through with cleaning... are these wheels paint/clear or baked clear? Just curious of finish. Thanks!

I'll need 5 people each kind of wheel to send $200 (non-refundable once production commences) to carlamps@hotmail.com via paypal. Please state your screen name and type of wheel you want in on. The process of getting these specially made E39 fitted wheels will take about 2-3 months the moment I get 5 deposits of each wheel. One might start before the other if the other style gets 5 first. Switching choices is discouraged so decide wisely!
