whats thae power goal if you dont lower the comp that turbo is just to big and laggy for 11psi the stock motor might take that

I allready have a lower CR (8.5:1), so i might boost higher...

I'm shooting for 700rwhp, i'm assuming i'll need to build up my motor...

Sweet!! So what rods are you going to go with?

At the beginning i'll stay with my stock ones, and boost low...

I'll proceed with a full engine work...

Can anyone tell me how much should the stock rods hold up?

Not sure if they're like the US rods, but if they are, I wouldn't try to run more than about 600 on them

i know they supposed to be stronger than the US ones... should be about the same as the ones in the S54 aren't them?

i saw HPF getting out 700rwhp with stock motor...

and another thing, if i have a strong HG, can i boost about 20PSI?

Hello.
Nice to see another supercharged/turbocharged euro-spec S50 over here. How much psi were you boosting while your M Coupe was supercharged? How did you lower compression ratio in your previous setup? Forged pistons? If so, which one? How did you tune the engine in your previous setup? Did you use stock MAF sensor or convert to MAP sensor? What turbo exhaust manifold did you buy or are you going to fabricate it by yourself?
My friend has dynoyed 530HP at 1.2bar of boost with stock connecting rods and ROSS’ forged pistons in euro-spec S50B30. If I were you, I wouldn't cross the line and install forged connecting rods now.
With strong head gasket you can boost 20 psi. I have blown stock headgasket at 0.4bar in my turbocharged euro-spec S50B30. Now I have 3.5mm MLS headgasket, which gave me CR~9.2:1, with no problems (stock internals). Boost ~0.5bar.
Good luck!

Nice Turbo, but please tell me your gonna change the wheels on it.

I actually don't really like those wheels, but the guy i bought the car from did... so i'm stuck with them for now (19's are hard to get in Israel... and i have more important matters for now :) )

I've been peaking 11PSI in 7000RPM with my s/c setup, as far as i know, i have forged pistons, and stronger HG, i don't know the exact details cause i bought the car with it allready...

As for tuning - i bought my car with a Dastek Unichip on it - but it never idled well, and was a PITA tuning it...
So i've replaced it for a PowerMod unit, which is great. i have both Maf and Map on my car.

I've ordered a manifold from ICS Tuning, i think they use the 666 ones...

thanks for the help.
