We also are riding the Hell Bender before we get back to the Dragon. We plan to meet at the airport hilton parking lot at 1 pm and leave from there at 1:30 at the latest. If you are interested in driving with us, let me know. i will get you more specific information and web links. Post here or PM if interested.

I may be able to take a ride up that way.. Not to ba an a$$, but...

Some more info would be a plus.. I for one need it to determine if I can meet the schedule.

Dates is a good place to start? Any type of info would help some of us to make it work..

Cool everyone welcome. We started out on our first few rides with about five cars. Slowly this year it has grown a bit. In February we had 9 cars and then our biggest yet we had 13 in March. We really don't know where all this is going. We are just enjoying the ride figuratively and actually.

Hopefully at least one Bimmer will come. We have at least 6 with as many as 10-12 possible.

Driving like that makes all of us look like asses. STAY IN YOUR LANE.

That type behavior is why I'm iffy on going back up there anymore, and why we got constant patrols from the THP through 2007.

If you know that driver, smack him good and tell him to learn to drive before he ends up with a sportbike implanted between his kidney grills coming around a blind curve up there in the wrong lane.

Miklm my mistake. When I said 6 to 10 are going I meant cars not BMWs. My mistake. Did not see the confusion in what I wrote til you showed the BMW across the yellow line. At this time we do not have anyone running BMW's in the group but would definitely love some to join us. as for the picture above the patrols will jump you faster for being across the double yellows faster than they will for speed. That above is way over the line figuratively and literally.

Who ever is driving that car should be in driving school ! That is totally unacceptable on that road !

I won't be able to make this run, maybe I can get to one in the future,, I just got back from a track event at Talladega and have some things the car needs to have gone thru.. And I need a rest !

Good Luck and keep us posted over here..

Agreed; Re-reading what I wrote, I may have not been clear either. I didn't mean to imply this was one of you guys, but was mainly posting as a reminder, anytime anybody goes up there to always drive safely and within your limits. I've been up there many times on 2 and 4 wheels, and the worst moment in the world is coming around a blind turn to find some idiot in your lane.

Have fun, enjoy the road, and mainly, BE SAFE.

Tn325i, how was the track day at TGPR? I assume you were with the AutoSport group? I hope to do a day with them there soon.

It was huge fun ! I think everyone there had a great time.. No accidents and no real car issues that I saw. One of the attendees posted pics here..http://www.flickr.com/photos/99188754@N00/sets/72157604622203766/
