Bought my car from Chicago. Engine and transmission from Baltimore. NIK engine but its new. (198 miles) Stored for 12 yrs. I now have the engine and transmission in and working great. I have to put in struts shocks control arms brakes window regulator and better sound. At this point my better half is telling me to stop spending for awhile and she has a point. But I am dying to finish this before the summer. So I am offering my left over parts here in case someone wants to renew their 7. I have a muffler system and rear self leveling suspension (complete).

Two years ago I bought a 535 and spent 3 grand fixing it up and I am very happy with the results. Car now has 60k on it and is my daily driver. I hope the 7 gives me the same results. I also have some e34 parts cars with many nice parts: 1994-540 1990-535

Sorry I must clarify a little. My mechanic did the parts exchange but I do have some pics. Car I bought had a blown engine. Water through the intake blew pistons through cylinder walls and oil pan. The good is interior is nice all electronics work and car has 112k on the body. Now only 300 miles on the drive train! I will have to paint hood and trunk lid but the rest is solid and no rust which is rare for midwest.

Exhaust is from a 1995 740IL but could easily fit 740I.....best thing about it is 200 miles on it. This is not aftermarket oem all stainless pipes and connections

I got some comments on bimmer info forum about not pricing the parts. I really don't know what a muffler system is worth because it does not come with the cats. I also know they don't wear out much but a brand new system has got to be worth a couple hundred. Also the rear suspension that I can't use is hard to price also. I could take off calipers rotors and pads and use them on my car but I thought if there was someone out there that wanted to keep his self leveling suspension, changing the whole system may be of interest. 800 bucks plus shipping for the rear suspension sounds about right. What do you guys think?
