Help!
My 5 speed 525 won't go in and out of gear with the engine on and the clutch won't engage or disengege the transmission. Is this an issue with the master cylinder, a bleeding issue or ??? No recent work has been done. I would appreciate any help from y'all as the car is currently undrivable and I am not familiar with the M20 and 5 speed transmission.

Sounds like you've got a bad slave cylinder.

see if u can pump it up by quicky pressing the clutch pedal and then try shifting it in or out....

make sure your fluid reservoir is full too...

its either a leaking line or master / slave cilinders failed

or the throwout bearing got busted?
