Can any body tell me where the blower motor is located in the 86 528E?? I have heard that it is either behind the fire wall, or under the center councel. I also know that it will either take a Bosch, or a Scailia (not sure on spelling). Can you tell me how to find these q's out without taking off the fire wall, or pulling the interior dash apart!

The heater blower is behind the firewall, relatively easy to access. I forget how to tell which is which, but search Behr or Sophia and you should find the differences. I do know that one has a larger diameter motor body and there may a difference in the color of the cages. If you have the larger bodied one, you can use the smaller bodied one and just shim it to fit.
I've had a half a dozen e28s and they've all had the Behr blower.
The A/C blower is inside by the radio. Bitch to get to.
