Recently had changed oil when engine service lights came on. (All red) Had it reset by mechanic , but lights remained on. It's a 325E 1986 auto.... Had change brake pads, did not do the rotors. Could this be the problem. or could it be the 9 volt battery in the console ? Havent a clue. Before, once I changed the oil and got it reset it was fine. I also have seen the ABS lights and brake sensor lights come on. Replaced the front sensor but still have the same problem. :redspotAny suggestions would be greatly appreciated....

They likely only reset the oil service light, not the inspection light.

Is the reseting of the oil light any different than the inspection light reset? I thought there was only one place to reset all and once its reset then all should be? No longer seeing brake lights or ABS.
