Lately whenever i first start the car in the morning or after its been off for a long period if i dont give gas and get it up to about 1500rpm for 15-30 seconds it will stall. After that i have no problems while driving or when putting it in park. If i turn it off and go into a store and come back and start it up again i have no problems either. I was thinking it could be the idle control valve or O2 Sensor maybe?

sounds like idle control valve. try cleaning it up.

So, the idle control valve did not work..still idles rough. Whats next O2 Sensor? are all the O2 Sensors the same for 89 325ix? i will be ordering one shortly...
