Looking for:
Stock E36
Lower Miles (100k ish)
Well Maintained
5 speed
Not picky about color but I hate white and tan
I'm not picky about what model it is, as long as the condition is good. I'm looking for a daily driver and have driven a few 318s on craigslist but none were in the condition the owners stated. If someone has an impecably maintained e30 I'd be willing to take a look at it. I just got a job that will require me to drive to upstate new york about once a month, so a reliable fuel efficient vehicle is key. Not intrested in cars with auto's at all.
I'm new to the forums, but not the car world. I have a solid axle swapped nissan pathinfinder (dana 44 front, arb lockers, chromo shafts, 4.56 gears) on 36's, built for rock crawling. I'm finishing a mechanical engineering degree, and am a certified welder and an amature machinist, so your car will be going into good hands. Also I'm a member of the society of automotive engineers and heavily involved in the university of maryland's SAE baja race car project.
Also, are there any common issues that I should be looking for in E36's? Common rust areas, electrical issues, etc...
