I've been an Audi owner for the past 9 years and am now considering a CPO 5-series along with a 06-07 A6. I would prefer the 530xi b/c of the better engine, but are there differences in how the 2 are equipped that I should be aware of? Is it possible to find a 525xi with the same equipment as the 530xi?

yes, you can get all the same packages. There is a substantial difference in the engine and performance.
