I don't have an electric buffer so all I used was applied by hand, but still the results are so much better than when I have just washed and waxed. I just need to get a nice electric buffer to get all of the pesky swirls out but the color and shine I have currently is fantastic. Definitely a labor of love, but I really need to shell out the cash to get 100% satisfaction (and probably save a lot of time haha)

What I did:
Wash
Clay
Meguiars Paint Cleaner
Meguiars Hand Polish
Wax

Outstanding, especially by hand. Love the color too (my favorite!)

You might want to take some alcohol/water mix and rub down the rocker panels, then try something to dress them once they're black again.

Love the fourth pic - great composition!
