jeffcfp1 03-29-2008, 09:41 PM Cool. Would be nice if could do similar up here in New England. Interestingly, today had a 633 with an antique plate fly by me, followed him, but with my 6 y.o. in back seat and driving my Infiniti, didn't get to say hi, but apparently lives in my home town as well, makes four sharks total, high number for a small town.
dm635 03-29-2008, 10:07 PM Great turn out. Wish I could have made it (if only a little closer). At least I spent the day wrenching on the 6. Thanks for the pics.
amibuggnu 03-29-2008, 10:35 PM Great stuff fellas, thanks for the pics. Every one of those cars looks awesome!
joecautela 03-30-2008, 07:53 AM pretty sight in early spring!
jbd5015 03-30-2008, 09:58 AM Thanks for coming out guys! Im going to get the 80+ pictures that my friend richard took, looks like he got quite a few nice ones!
Couldnt have asked for a better day (in State College at least). Good lunch, great people, great cars. Cant wait for SESF to meet up again at Anitas!

Thanks for the kind words Ellis.
After trying to get a decent "on-the-road" pic, appreciation for the amazingly clear and up close pics managed on your excursions is increased exponentially. Where do you get the leprechaun photographer that hangs off the side of the car at 80 mph?

I'll take one of these even if she doesn't know which end of the camera to point.

jbd5015 03-30-2008, 07:11 PM Joe, thanks for taking a picture of Wolfie's good side hahaha!! Right now he is missing the intake, valve cover, and other things involved with that getting ready for SESF, under the hood will have quite the visual overhaul since this event!
More pics later tonight from this meet...

rugbywinger13 03-30-2008, 07:52 PM She seems to know which end of her ass to point:eyecrazy
Great pics and nice turnout. Jeff (In RI), I would be in to trying to have a little sharkfest too...I don't mind the trip to RI. My aunt and an old client live in East Greenwich, so I could give then a visit too...I won't be making it to SESF:( this year as I have quite a few other trips planned this spring and summer already:D, so a mimi-meet would be cool.
Thanks for the kind words Ellis.

Tricky at first, but after a while you get the hang of what works and what doesn't.

Speakinawhich, I'd very much hit that Miss, to be sure, to be sure!
Wolfie does look nice & menacing in that shot, lookin' forward to more pics.
Regards,
Ellis.
joecautela 03-31-2008, 10:09 AM Jeff, Wolfie looks good! I was wondering..are those wheels 17"? I don't remember from the build up thread if you lowered the car or filled it up with the bigger wheels. They look the same as on Andrews too? btw, how do you like the new exhaust? Joe
jbd5015 03-31-2008, 11:03 AM Joe-
they are 17 x 8 Style 32 wheels, Andrew has the rondel wheels (i forget the number), and are pretty similar. I think his spokes have a curve to them, and the dish on his is a little deeper.
I also have dinan springs on the car which gave Wolfie his stance, and bilstein sports. The new cat unit i installed is great, sounds great, and was easy to install (from what i understand of exhaust work!)

detroit635csi 03-31-2008, 12:01 PM i almost took up your invite to come down jeff...
:shifty
haha
i think that is like a 9 hour drive
it would have been a very very long day
detroit635csi 03-31-2008, 12:03 PM ohh mine are rondell style 63
similar to jeffs as he said, but with curved spokes and a 2.5inch polished lip..
i think if i remember right they dont make them anymore but you may be able to find a set... or i may be willing to sell mine in a couple months.... im thinking about buying some throwing stars from wolf....
powdercoating the centers black and polishing the lips... havent made up my mind yet though..
edit: now that i think about it... my 63s might have a 3 or a 3.5inch lip i cant remember and i dont have a tape measure..

jbd5015 04-01-2008, 10:33 AM I've got all the pictures that Richard took, but since there are 87 of them, i decided to just put them all into a folder on my photobucket page, and here is the link!
Now this is open for everyone, if there is a picture that you would like on an 8 x 10 glossy or something, let me know and ill hook you up with richard, he has all these photos in great resolution for print outs, and since photography is his thing, itll be put together really nice!
enjoy the shots!

rodger 04-04-2008, 12:13 AM Wow! Thats gotta be cool to have that many 6ers. I've seen 1 and it was an L6, poorly kept and for sale. But at the same time i was surprised and excited...so sad
dm635 04-04-2008, 01:17 PM In the 1st 2 picks, it shows why I went for the 32's until I was fortunate to snag a set of Alpina's. Even though this should have ended my wheel search(in effect it has), I still wonder what other wheel might look good.
dm635 04-04-2008, 01:43 PM Gonna try the pic thing. PC's acting up and I haven't mastered image shuffling.
e24mpwr 04-04-2008, 01:47 PM Who does the red car with the Rondell 72's (like mine) belong to?

The red 635 belongs to Mike Stiener from Hagerstown, MD. George Barber grew up with his little brother!

jbd5015 04-04-2008, 03:45 PM Your car looks great Dave!
BTW, if anyone is interested in, or knows someone interested in that Blue E34, let me know. Its for sale, and im good friends with the seller. Its a 1990 535i 5spd, glacier blue with blue interior, 70k on the clock, fantastic car! All the guys that were at the meet that day can vouch for the condition!
