i just got a 80 633csi the guy i got it from cut a lot of wires under the dash like the heater wires stereo,and a box thats got bottons on it with mpg!! i got a book on the car but it dont have a good diagram please if you can help thanks

what you need is the factory etm it has all the diagrams you will need. there is a site that has it in pdf format for free.... someone will see this thread and post up a link soon probaly... if not do some searching in the 6er forum here and you should be able to find a thread that has the link in it somewhere...its around here in multiple locations

Unfortunately, the online PDF files only contain ETM"s for years from '83 to '89, which cover the cars based on the e28 5-series. Your '80 is based on the earlier e12 5-series and isn't covered.

I seem to remember using the Haynes manual for the e12 and being able to use some of the wiring diagrams there.

I do have the wiring on microfiche if you have a reader.
