I seriously doubt it can achieve the numbers posted - especially rollin' on dubs. It has likely been clocked at much slower times . . . but there are always reasons/excuses as to why they are not reliable, like "the clutch was spent, the weather was hot, it was my first time at the strip", etc.

The "estimates" are likely self-serving guestimates of what the car could do w/ a pro driver, with optimum tire/wheel set-up, etc.

i thought the same thing. why would you have such a unique car but not fix a damaged wheel or a heater valve?

i saw this in CL as well...but the price is a bit high (for the economic times right now and for an 11 year old car - no matter what nice mods it has).

even SC'd 540's now don't fetch that much (under $20K for something around that year).

and he definitely needs to fix these "minor" issues before selling a car that (hopefully) still looks as clean as in those photos!

SMOG might be an issue as well with those mods.
