Fellows,
I just bought 4 new tires for the coupe and mounting the backs are always a problem. The fronts are difficult to mount, the rears are a horror show.
I bought Falken FK452s from 1010tires.com (Vancouver) and had them mounted locally.
An unnamed tire shop in Sidney marked up the fronts terribly. They'll have to be repainted and recleared.
The rears were taken to Kal Tire on Keating X Rd. They mounted them perfectly, not 1 mark, not 1 smudge, nothing.
If you're looking for a shop to do a great mounting/balancing job, Chris at Kal Tire is worth a phone call.
Why Falken Fk452?
Michelin PS2s (rear) are rated at 4.4 / 5 on a 7 point scale. They're $360 each.
Bridgestone RE01Rs (rear) are rated 4.5/5 and are $276 each.
Falken KF452s (rear) are rated 4.3 / 5 and are $185 each.
