Hello, glad to join the group. I was wondering if I could get some input on a problem that started today. My passenger side door power window just stopped working during lowering while driving (all the rest work still ). I tested the switch with a ohm meter and tried the switch on different windows and it seems fine. After downloading a wiring diagram PDF of the electrical system, I see that the from the schematic that the switches are directly connected to the window motor(s) from there but with a volt meter I get nothing, 0 V, at the window motor wiring harness inside the door when the switch is pushed. Any other suggestions to try and where else to possibly look? Thanks for any input and for helping a new member out.

I posted this in the 3 series of same yr. Sorry for the double post. Any moderator please feel free of course to delete this post or redirect to this thread --> hxxp://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=967953 (forum wouldn't let myself do the hyperlink edit)

Well, I got it. There was something loose in the harness in the door. I pulled it apart and rebuilt it and seems fine now. I cleaned the wires, recrimped the ends on the and put nolox on the end to prevent corrosion.
