I don't reccommend doing this. wokke 03-26-2008, 05:31 PM About 50mm. I don't reccommend doing this. I fully agree, definitely not a good idea. E36 rims have an offset of 40 to 50mm which means you need spacers 20mm to 30mm thick which means loooong lugs and a lot of stress on them. jbd5015 03-26-2008, 06:46 PM ooph, that is quite a bit, i thought it was in the 30 range, definitely dont want to do that, better off grabbing some E39 wheels or something. -Jeff seanpuck 03-28-2008, 09:02 AM ok thanks for the replies and advice-offset on these e36 wheels is 40mm. They are the contour reps with the polished lip and the look really good on the car so maybe i'll try to find some made for the car.20mm spacers=bad idea Lavalamp 03-28-2008, 12:41 PM pics of contours on an e24? seanpuck 03-28-2008, 12:45 PM ok i'll try to get pics on tomorrow wokke 03-28-2008, 03:50 PM ok thanks for the replies and advice-offset on these e36 wheels is 40mm. Adapters are bolted to the hub and have threads for wheel lugs. This way you basically move the mounting flange to the outside towards the fender and don't need longer bolts. veyl racing 03-31-2008, 11:47 PM where can you find the adapters for the car wokke 04-01-2008, 05:21 AM H&R offer them plus various other manufacturers. Fleabay is a good source for used ones - at least in Germany. |
