Greetings:

As some of you know by know I am stripping an E30 M3 track car that had full interior, a/c, sound deadening, etc. I want to do a fan delete. I have a 16" for my Z3 racecar and I put a 16" in an E30 325 racecar I built last winter. The challenge I am having is that it seems a 16" would be too big for the M3 rad. I searched this forum for it but could not find it. What size are you guys using? I am thinking a 14" spal pusher would fit nicely but wanted to double check.

PS: We are still trying to determine which interior parts are going in. Once we know for sure I'll put up a list. This I know, the carpet is not going back in and neither is the heater box, obc, glovebox.

Cheers,
Ricky

Most people use 12-14" puller fans so they don't have to mess with the evaporator and aux fan.

Thanks. I have deleted the a/c including the evap. That's why I was looking into a pusher. Its going in front of the rad. I am not a firm believer of attaching a fan to the radiator with those "ties" they have that go through the core.

Thanks,
Ricky

Go for it. The electric fan upgrade is one of my most favorite upgrades for increased throttle response.

Quite possibly the best mod I have done to my E30, engine response is great. Coupled with a temperature sensor, this is a great efficient way of cooling your engine.

Do you want to sell the rear seats?
