i have a pretty old white car with no clear coat, so there are these tiny red specks that are like rust all over the car. ive gotten most of them out with my polisher, but the rear bumper is very heavily covered in this stuff. whats the best way to fix this?

thanks in advance!

You might want to start with a clay bar before you polish. From your description it might be rail dust or some metallic fallout that is starting to rust.

^What he said. Claybar does wonders.

make sure the clay doesnt pull off paint since there isnt a clear coat.

Detailer's clay is an abrasive type product and therefore cannot 'pull' anything from a paint surface.

Try spraying the spots with some WD-40, then gentlly wipe it off with a microfiber towel. I get these spots all the time on my white daily driver and this seems to do the trick without any rubbing or harsh chemicals. White is a great color - it's hard to see scratches or swirls.
