Just got the online info, I am into UCSD for Human Biology in the Eleanor Roosevelt college. Excited, but havent spent that much time down in San Dieog, other than for a tour of UCSD and a couple family things.

Anyone around La Jolla or the area want to find a day and get me aquainted with the area? Just some way of cinvincing me even more that I want to be down in San Diego?

Home is not that far away (Laguna Beach-- ~1hr North)< but it would be nice to discover all the good stuff around the area.

PM me or let me know!

I go to CSUSM, I like it since it only has ~9800 people and the campus is newish and clean. A bit of a commute for me but I didn't want to deal with the 33k+ amount of people at SDSU.

To the OP, congrats on getting in...the nearby vicinity of UCSD isn't a hotspot for fun but drive 5-10+ mins and you have great beaches to go too, restaurants, bars/clubs in Pacific Beach/Downtown, etc.

Ima live down there of course! What is college life if you live at home?? :D. Might be nice but I actually want the entire experience. If I didnt care for the experience, I would be still at home going to Saddleback.

Fullerton is nice mang, what do you want to do there?

I go to a small school right now so I like that and thin San Marcos would be good. I'm going to live at home for sure so I'm going to be commuting com laguna niguel to either Fullerton or San Marcos.

Jake, I'm not sure yet, something involving computers maybe networking or design/photography. Fullerton campus is a decent size. I'm going to Sanatcos tomorrow so I'll see how I like it down there

congrats, good luck coping with zero attractive women for four years of your life :stickoutt. Just kidding, Im in the SDSU area, and also work at DDM tuning, so you have some connections down here. I have some friends at UCSD, and from what I hear their classes are ALOT of work. If you got accepted there im sure you are pretty studious. If youre looking for more of a social school you might want to check out SDSU or UCSB. Choosing a college really has to do with matching your personality, habits and the right environment for you.
