Here are some pics taken a week or so ago--a couple are from last summer.

I've been using the Zaino system for a long time. Black cars are a bitch to keep clean, but Zaino makes it real easy.

Ride looks showroom fresh, maybe better than that actually. I highly recommend this system.

First time method:
Clay Bar
Z-7 Wash
Z-5 (3 coats)
Z-6
Z-2 (5 coats)
Z-6
Z-CS Spray
Z-6
Z-8

Maintenance method:
Car Duster, the older the better
Z-7 Wash
Z-6 Spray

zaino looks great, i used to use it all the time, but graduated to professional products. zaino is just a little pricy for what you get.

All hand done. First time deal takes a few hours. After that, you're good to go.

There is a reason as to why many show cars use this system. The depth of the finish is utterly insane.

Cheers :beer

That looks MAGICAL! Did you have many swirls to contend with? I'm assuming no, considering you did it all by hand and the paint looks so deep and uniform.

Yes, I did have swirls! Bad swirls! Have a look:

With the swirl remover Z-5 and Z-2 polish, there's no rubbing. They become layers and then the layers crosslink creating a 3 dimensional surface hence the insanely deep shine.

So it "covers" the swirls, rather then correct them. Still seems like a good deal, at least for a temporary solution.

Actually, Z-5 covers up the swirls because it adds layers to the paint.

And it does not wash off or rub off.

Z-5 is not an abrasive. Z-PC is and should only be used on serious swirls.

From what I've agathered through the years about Zaino Z-5 is that it is a filler, but like most, it is limited to mild swirls. If anything requires a medium cleaner polish than it is too much damage for Z-5 to fill. Think along the lines of hazing as this is what Z-5 tends to cover up.

For serious swirls, you need an abrasive. For medium swirls, non-abrasive Z-5 works real well. The polymer-type crosslinking system is an excellent medium for swirl removal.

I might try this system before spending all the coin on a UDM kit. Where did you purchase everything? Also, what do you use on your tire walls as the last step?

Is that true?

Is that product colored? I mean is the liquid black? I stopped using many products long time ago because of the white residue.
