Whats the deal, what are we thinking for 1st meet of the year. I know the snow kinda killed the spring mood, but it is indeed here.

Yeah, Im in the mood for a meet. Who knows when tho, since the weather is unpredictable lately. Is this going to just a meet, meet and eat with a cruise thrown in?

First meet was in March - March 1, IIRC.

TSD rally is at the end of April.
I am pretty much game for whatever peeps want to do between now and then. Can't request off for a meet - I am going to be occupied with car events all summer so I requested off quite a bit. Won't do it from now until the Rally. If I am not working I will be happy to meet.

I'm busy the next two weekends, but I'm pretty much free the weekends of April 12th and 19th. I'm down for anything then, or during the week if some Madison guys/gals want to get together.

We could do the Madison to Spring Green route again with a stop in New Glarus, or come up with something different.

I agree, Spring is here! I'm heading up to our shop in Wausau this weekend to do Spring maintenance, new fluids/plugs/filters FTW!

If everything falls into place in the next couple weeks I'll have a new 335i coupe and could probably be persuaded to get together for a drive sometime.

If the moving pieces miss their marks then no new 335 for me and I'll have to wait until Ferrari weather arrives to have some driving fun.

It was a New Glarus drive, maybe last spring? You met up with us in Madison, but couldn't commit for the whole day, I believe... anyway, I don't care where we go, so long as it's fun roads.

Edit: I remember more. I followed RC on the way down there, through some mud on the road, and his big nasty muddin' tires threw it ALL over the front of my car. We arrived in New Glarus, my front end and windshield plastered, and no one else had ANY mud on their cars. I'm not following him again.

IDK about a drive. IT's not the New Glarus thing or the sand. I don't trust that the roads are going to be smooth and pothole free. I am not about to go on a spiritied drive only to have to watch for potholes.

The TSD sounds okay - you will have a chance to avoid potholes - vs a spirited drive.

I'd be down to meet - just not drive. And it would also be pending my work schedule.

After I got it running and got what motorhead fix I could (listening to the motor and inhaling some exhaust), I called up the girl. She asked why my hands were so filthy...

I think the only time we've been in the same place was about two years ago, on the Mt. Horeb drive when we met up at Olin. I don't know if the two of us even met, but I was the cool kid driving a Camry. Glad to say I've moved up since then.
