how do u remove the front chrome grill outline i want to paint it black :devillook

i used the padded screwdriver method. take a tiny bit of scotch tape a wrap it around the tip of a flathead. once thats good. wedge it in between the lip of the chrome trim and the actual grill piece and it should pry itself away from the grill and just do the same for both sides and it should easily come out.

If you really want to do that (:() then just buy the covers. The paint will chip easily.

lol, what 4500 RPM said is true. it will chip easy if you just paint. try to use some sandpaper and primer to make the paint better.

i redid mine today again. remember to sand them down and primer. i got lazy and shot it with another coat of black.
