Neither is body colored bumper trim. What is that 'stuff" on the valve cover?

Also, the 94 525i did not have the wide grill or side skirts. This looks more like a 95.

My bad its a 95 sorry i need to fix that the stuff on the valve cover is the paint coming off the cover clear coat. He got the bumper and the trim painted the same to match the car. Sorry again for the wrong year

No offense in any way, but thats a TON of money for that car.

Maaco paint job.. Junk Yard motor... not in tip top condition.

Clean it up a little, put some wheels on it, drop it and it will bring that money on ebay if your lucky.

Just trying to give you a heads up. I've sold a couple e34's that were great cars for about half what your asking.

I mean, I wasn't going to say it but...that's still being too nice.

It should fetch about $1,200, probably a bit less on Ebay. Of course, your uncle knows this already...I hope.

Maybe it's me and I'm missing some previous conversations, but it looks like a really nice car. I'm not one for painted molding, but the paint in general looks nice.

$1200? That's it? I haven't checked KBB, but I would think it would be higher than that, no?

From looking at the E34 market for ages that's what I'm guessing will be the final sales price. It could be higher but I'd be very very very surprised if it pulled over $2k.

A ton of chassis miles with a JY motor, needs moldings all around, marginal interior, questionable paint, etc.

If Im not mistaken it looks like it may have been hit in the rear or something.. Both 1/4s are pushed in just a tad.. Maybe it was backed into something. :dunno

It looks like it's missing the "bumper gasket" piece that sits on top of the bumper. Maybe that's what you're seeing.

$1200? That's it? I haven't checked KBB, but I would think it would be higher than that, no?I put my old '89 up on Craigslist for that price, documenting all of the things wrong with it, saying that the transmission was dying, and I got at least two dozen responses of people saying they'd come over that day to pick it up. This car should fetch at least $3500. I'd probably put it up for $4000. It looks nicer than these guys are saying IMO.

No.. look at the trunk in relation to the 1/4s under the lights.. and how the lights don't but up to each other.

I noticed the same thing...look at the strip of metal under the trunk (can't remember what that's called)

It's also had something up front. Look at the tow hook covers on each side of the fogs. One is the '95 525i/TDS cover, the other is the old-style cover.
