So I took the car into service last week for a major suspension overhaul. The front end was clunking and would make a loud grinding sound when turning hard. So I took it into the shop and the following was replaced:
- front upper and lower control arms
- control arm bushings
- tie rod ends
- sway bar links
picked it up two days ago and its still doing the same exact thing. Its still clunking and still grinding on turns. What do you think could still be wrong? I'm taking it back to the shop early next week but I'm not sure what else to check or replace?

Check out the strut bushings; had the same issues changed everything else and still clunking. Did the strut bushings yesterday, problem solved.

Are we talking about a clunking in the front from approximately 50-60mph only? I've got that really bad, what should I do?

check strut mounts and change the pitman arm, steering arm (also called idler arm)

I'll have to check the strut bushings, thanks

I'm still getting a grinding sound on hard turns, could this be the pitman arm?

"Strut bearings"? WHAT??!!!
Do you people even know what you're talking about? You're just throwing around miscellaneous part names saying, change that, replace that...All I know is this is a very common troublesome issue for me and hundreds of E34 owners by now. Stop making sh!t up because, we need to get to the bottom of this with some real answers, NOW.
