Friday Night Pre-Bimmerfest Dinner
We are extremely excited to have a pre-Bimmerfest dinner at Earl Warren Showgrounds on Friday, May 2nd and apparently so is everyone else. With more fifty enthusiasts signed up, it is shaping up to be a great lead-in to the show. If you have not signed up yet, go update your registration now by following this link. You will need to enter your email address and password to retrieve your current registration at the top of the sceen.

Show Hours on Saturday
The official hours for Bimmerfest 2008 Santa Barbara are from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. This year there is also an early entry option which is outlined below. Make sure you have $20.00 with you when approaching the showgrounds to help keep traffic flowing into the showgrounds.

Early Entry on Saturday
Every year people ask how to be assured they will get a good spot or how to ensure they will be judged for the Battle of the Bimmers. This year, you will be able to enter the showgrounds from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM for a premium cost of $40.00 per car. This extra cost is ONLY for early entry. If you arrive prior to 9:00 AM you will be required to either leave the showgrounds and surrounding roadways or pay the $40.00 fee.

You should come about 2 hrs before the game starts if you sit there again next time. They hit ALOT of practice homerun balls there. I stood at the warning tracks but everything kept going over the wall.

I was in Starbucks with a couple of the guys talking about bimmerfest and the meet we were at with an e30 friend. We got on the topic of how it pisses me off when they come to the meet and rev like idiots and blast their music. He was right there as I was pretty much yelling it so I just said it to his face and he got sad and hurt about it. They've already been asked to never return to the Ontario Mills meet for the same sh!t. I'm a CAR enthusiast and it bothers me when I get labeled as a douche bag because 1 person makes us look like tools, we already have a bad rep with the japanese car scene and that just makes it worse when he is blaring blondie as we roll in when I actually want to get to know some of them

I don't want to fight over this since it's a waste of time, and I don't care if they go to the meets as long as they don't act like a-holes

Also when I say they them I really mean him about their "leader" since some of those guys are actually nice people

i WOULD get all around tint because my pants get too hot in the sun every morning to work. like, sizzling hot. im just thinking about getting the rear half tinted. i just went to a shop for a quote yesterday and they said i should get 3M(??) which would cost me about $225(??wtfsoexpensivebbq).

so i guess i want tint for looks..? since it wont do me/the driver any good:(

The tint that I got for my rear windows was $120 for removing old tint and putting new on. $190 seems expensive.

3M is good and doesn't turn purple or bubble up if done right. Just see what people have tinted and pick which ever one you like the most.

I figured out the best tint for your car. I'll just buy like 31 cans of Tamiya model car spray tint and we'll spray paint your windows. Don't worry about taping your car off :shifty
