I was planning to replace the rear driver side wheel speed sensor today in my 99 Touring. Everything went well untill i got to the extraction of the sensor. Tried to pull it out and the plug/wiring snapped at the base of the rear axle. $%#Q$#!!!
I tried to drill a hole though the sensor and run a screw though it to try and pry it out, but only got chunks or plastic out. This sucker is really pressed in there. Any ideas short of removing the hub and going from the inside out?
