I replaced the aftermarket amp with Alpine PDX 1.1000 and PDX 4.150

Lookin good. I notice that the car has clear headlight blinkers, clear sidemarkers, and painted moldings. Did you do this yourself in addition to the amp or did you buy it that way?

I got it that way. I dunno if this is stock or the previous owner replaced it?
BTW its a 1999 540iA with 78.9kmiles

Im planning on lowering her next week. There's a groupbuy on Bilstein. I might get the Bilstein Sport and H&R Racing combo, but still doing some more research if its the right setup for me.

Here's the only one I have so far. Its a Old Alpine CVA-1005. Iim replacing it with Alpine IVA-D310 which i won from Ebay for a cheap price which incudes 2 alpine amps that i will be selling including this Alpine monitor.

NICE car... and great Setup for the system

They are 12" JL Audio W series. They are loud when the trunk is open, our cars are so sealed that i really could not hear a whole lot of BASS inside. I guess i have to cut through the ski pass and face the subs to the front.

I am going to upgrading my car's system with the PDX-5 Alpine amp, and I am wondering if you considered the PDX-5? You would have needed to only install 1 amp. I am guessing not enough power to run the subs?

The car came with a 5Ch A/D/S but I've always been a fan of having separate amps for the subs and main. I kinda think that its putting too much stress on the amp plus just in case I upgrade the Subs i know that the PDX 1.1000 can handle it. Im not sure if PDX came with a 5CH amp.
