So, yesterday, i wake up and my dad said that my car has been "talking to him". Not knowing what this means, and it being early in the morning i brush it off and go off to baseball in my dads car. when i get back im upstairs in my room and i hear a little honk, so i go wait outside to see if indeed it is my car making noise. low and behold it is. and it turns out it is the alarm horn going off. this battery has died once for an unknown reason before, and i dont think it is because it is going bad because it lasted a long time before it did it, so ive decided something is just slowly draining the battery and being as it was the alarm honking spartically, i am thikning that there is a short in the alarm system, so i was going to disconnect it. now down to the questions. the central locking is not connected to the alarm right?, meaning the locks will work if the alarm is disconnected. and, i think i have found that the alarm is powered off a wire that is connected directly to the battery, is that correct?
