Anyone use one of these? Were you able to set the toe correctly the first time around? Looks like a good idea, I definately find getting the toe exactly right a challenge sometimes due to the shifting of the rack while making adjustments, even with the steering wheel locked. Sometimes you need to go back a few times to tweak it.

I made my own... but they work on the same concept.

I aligned my car myself on a flat pad with strings - "old school" - and it's spot on. You just need something to lock the steering, the shops usually use something on the steering wheel, I used these because I replaced the tie rods (and the majority of the rest of the front suspension).

If you put some thought into it, and you have a level surface, it isn't difficult to align a car yourself...
