Dunno where this is supposed to go, but I have 4.75L of the original Chrome Shadow metal effect lacquer from a few years ago. (Original discussion here: http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=653785)

This is more than enough to spray any BMW, and the effect can be seen in the link above (silver base coat) or in pictures of the new CS concept or previous M3/M5 concepts (black base coat).

Was looking to recover my initial investment, but am willing to take a loss and am offering the paint, necessary thinner, and factory application instructions for $1500 OBO + ship. Please note that as this is hazardous material, there may be some fees associated with shipment, but this won't be prohibitive; however it does limit the shipment range to North America as customs for hazmat is tricky.

This is not imitation stuff, but is the genuine article. Any takers?

god i wish i had more money. i've been hoping some more would come available, as i sadly watched that last batch go on ebay with empty pockets and a tear in my eye. if i can find some way to take a loan out i would love to take it all from you, i know some guys at my paint shop that would love to get their hands on it and thats plenty to do what i want then make a deal with them for the rest. i am seriously going to try to find a way to buy this from you

It's made by a third-party German company, the name of which I'd rather not reveal without a serious bidder, as it'd tempt people to use side channels to try to get more of the stuff. As far as I am aware, the BMW concept color is this lacquer over black basecoat, so that's your reference. However, it's important to know that not every paint shop is going to be able to apply this properly.

Do you have a link to the concept car in black?

All BMW concept cars since the E46 M3 have been painted in this color.
