Hey Guys,
If you have been following my transmission woes they seem to be better.
I had the automatic transmission that would not shift until the engine
was fully warmed up. Lately the tranny has been working perfectly.

get in , buckle up, and drive away works as advertised!.

That and my leaky window I wanted to say thanks to all
the people who have lent suggestions and replied with answers.

REALLY enjoying the Big 6 coupe now! :alright

Did shifting improve with the warmer weather or do you think the work at Freddie's helped? The delayed first shift of the day on our '89 325iX seems to be temperature dependent - the first shift is delayed longer as temperatures drop.

Glad to hear the 6er is doing well in any case. :clap :clap :clap

Best regards,

Good question,
I honestly have no idea.
The car still starts out with the temp gauge on cold.
For some strange reason It decides to go right away.

I am not complaining, and saving 15 minutes warm up every morning.

I don't think Freddies did anything to fix it .

The strangest thing is my windshield has been leaking and it has
been raining here a lot. After the wet floorboards, the transmission seems to work fine now.

Go figure?
