Hi Everyone -

I have a Z3 hardtop up for sale.

Here’s a brief history of the top: I purchased it a few months ago from an Acura dealership. The top was originally on a M roadster that was traded in but the dealership never sold the top with the car. My Z3 is in Florida but I live part time in Virginia (where I bought the hardtop). A few weeks later, a guy back home in Florida was selling his hardtop (typical) and it happened to be in the color of my car (Atlanta Blue). So, I bought this hardtop too! I have 1 Z3 and 2 hardtops!

The hardtop for sale is Estoril Blue in color. It came off of a M roadster and has a production date of January, 1999.

The top comes with the BMW hardtop storage bag. I have only had the hardtop out of the storage bag twice – the first time when I picked up the hardtop and just a few days ago when I took lots of pictures of it. Before I purchased it, the top was in storage for several months.

Condition: outside of top is in excellent shape! Original paint and no touch up marks at all. No nicks, dents, major scratches. No chips, dings, fading, etc. All rubber is in excellent shape too, as well as the rear glass window.

Inside of the top is in great condition. No funny smells (like smoke) – headliner doesn’t have any holes, spots, tares, etc. There is one minor spot on the driver’s side where the headliner is a little wavy – nothing major. The headliner isn’t sagging but in this one spot, it has come off a little – again, nothing major and it does not affect outward or rearward vision.

The top looks great and would look nice as a two tone (if your car isn’t Estoril Blue) or you could have it painted to match your car’s color. It would be unfortunate to paint this top, though, because the paint is in excellent condition and shows very little signs of use.

What is not included: I do not have a hard top mounting kit, a t-handle tool, a rear defrost button.

The hardtop storage bag, in good shape, is included.

Please e-mail me with any questions and I will respond and also send along many pictures.

Top is located in Winchester, VA – outside of DC.

I will help with delivery of the top to the DC area, Northern Virginia area, etc. Local pick up also available and I am willing to drop it off at a pack and ship to have it crated for delivery anywhere.

Any reasonable offer considered. Paypal, personal check, cash works.

Again, this top needs NOTHING! It hasn’t been used a lot, especially since the paint is in such good condition and there are no chips, dents or touch ups.

Thanks!

What are you asking for it? Did I miss it in the write up?

Make me an offer!

That's not how it works. This is not ebay. List a price and people will then respond. Also, I know you are very low on posts but if you want to sell this top, you'll need photos preferrably within the thread. If you PM your photos, I'll see what I can do to host/post them up.

Hi Bernielomo1 - I'm "very" interested in buying your hardtop and will pay to have it shipped to NYC. Just bought an '02 M Roadster and am looking for a hardtop. Please contact me via chromekid@gmail.com. Simply put - I want the hardtop. As long as your price is within the realm of reason - we can make a deal. But I'd rather discuss directly. Looking forward to your response. Thanks! Ed in NYC
