i am wanting tolower my 01 330ci. I want the car to handle good but, I dont want to lose all the comfort of driving (i dont want to bounce around). I have been looking around and I would preffer to get a whole coilover system.
I found some on bavauto.com it is thier brand of coilover part number
SK SU80BM04/1 and HE5 8035 which is bilstien. IS there any other places to look for suspensions. which of those too are better. Also does anyone have teins on thier bimmer? IF so are they a pretty comfortable ride? thanks for the halp
Is this now the official "I want a cheap coilover!" day? :D

Not a good title.
You will probably get better responses in the E46 forum. This forum is better suited for more high end suspension questions.
If you want cheap consider lowering springs but not increase weight range.
If you want to improve how the handling feels without sacrificing too much ride quality get sway bars but don't set them too firm.

ok i never said i wasnt willing to buy a good suspension. I just asked a simple question which is what i thought this forum was for. I never said anything about being cheap. i gave a couple examples of what i have seen. I am open to suggestions which is the reason that i have been on this forum to get ideas and learn more about bmw's since i am fairly new them.

You might be able to glean some good information from this thread (http://http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=962831). I drive my e46 zhp on the street and at the track when I am instructing. I do not have coilovers on it, but still get excellent performance on and off the track while keeping my kidneys intact since I bought a proven, quality shock. I would keep your options open (i.e, look at non-coilover options too) and reach out to the vendor community to get more information once you "shop around" here.
