Hey guys, is there any way to roll the front fenders? I just bought new rims and even though im using a measly 225 width tire, the semi aggresive offset of 38 on a 18x8.5 causes it to rub when turning.

I know you can roll the rears, but I never heard of rolling the fronts?

Please help :help

Thanks! :buttrock

I thought the fronts were a bit easier to roll when I did mine. Its exactly the same method.

But, where is it rubbing. A 38 offset in front is about right. Are the tires 225/35? I'm guessing they aren't.

They are 225 40 18. So the method for rolling the rears is the same for rolling the front?

I am new to this whole custom tire thing and am learning slowly, so hope you don't mine me asking what exactly is involved in fender rolling. I think I have an idea, but I can be way off.

Basically its rolling the little lip inside the wheel wells, its to add more room for your wheels which is usually necessary when running aftermarket rims and a lowered car.

My questions is wether rolling the front fenders is the same as rolling the rears, it seems there is only very little lip on the front. :help

Fronts are very easy - only 1 layer of metal on the entire fender, so you can roll in whatever is remaining of the lip, and then kinda "pull" the fender out with the roller very slightly so that it arches out a little more and give more clearance - done right, it does not mess up the paint and stuff either.

Thank you! Thats exactly what I was wanting to hear!

Yes, the entire fender will roll out. The rear does about the same thing since most cars have filler in there that doesn't compress much.
