Was rolling down 95 on Friday and yesterday and saw the same Vantage. Nice car but I would have a hard time of restraing myself from easing heavily into the throttle. Granted the Polezi were out in force so that would be a deterant.

Sorry should have mentioned a color. It was a dark slate/blue color. Very subtle.

The yellow one is owned by a forum member. It drives really nicely, although it really could use some more power.

The legendary Jed? On an off note it was nice in NoVa this past weekend. I spent a few days with my kids.

I've always thought they were sexier and a better bang for the buck than the DB9. Weighs a good amount less as well. Hard to choose between the porsche turbo and the vantage in terms of aesthetics. Both are damn nice to look at.

I agree, they are very sexy. DB9 seem bigger. Porsche are too common but who cares. I'll continue to drive my old M3 for now.

I think the Vantage is the best looking of all of AM's offerings. The V12 Vantage RS will be the car to have if/when they release it (assuming you have unlimited disposable income).

So does the Vantage RS become the flagship? The DBS gets relegated to second fiddle by a souped up version of the company's "entry level" car?
It's kind analogous to Porsche sticking a 500hp motor in a Boxster, upgrading some other bits, and calling it a Boxster RS. An awesome car, but it would put the 911 in a weird position.
that's exactly why the cayman is so restricted and dumbed down. porsche couldn't let it upsell their precious 911 and it fits right in place between a base 911 carrera and a boxster.
