Ignor the date on the pics. They were taken today!!! The camera keeps defaulting back to 2002 when the battery dies.

Meticulous maintenance with receipts.
New headline in the hardtop. It is black and has a thin layer of sound deadening material underneath it. It is as quiet as a coupe with the hardtop on the highway.
Tires and brakes are less then a year old.
Never raced or abuse and I am the second owner. Clean title.
I was offered $12000 as a trade in. I would hate to see this thing go to a sleazy used car dealership who will turn around and sell this thing for $17,000+.

You should really check the laws on importing cars, I have heard there are some restrictions. If everything is leagal give me a call. I will even take the cost of shipping off the price (within reason).

Also, I am an airline pilot and I might be able to provide cheap transportation so you can check it out.

I need to sell this first before I can get the other car. I don't want avertise the other car because it is for sale and really want it. Please understand. Don't be pissed. If I get it I will post pics. Its not a BMW................:)

I have spent over 3 months solid looking for a nice clean M car (m3/roady/vert/sedan) and finally settled on one which I found here on the forums. I am making the transaction on it this Saturday. fyi I'm paying 15.5k with 61k miles about the same condition w/o the hard top and I consider that a good deal. I'm sure you won't have trouble selling this VERY QUICKLY.

I saw yours up for sale the day I was about to call and make a deposit on my roady and I almost changed my mind but I personally didn't want silver. Someone is gonna be lucky to pick this up for so cheap.

PS: where do you get that hanger thing for the hardtop? or did you make it yourself.

IF you're serious about all that, maybe I might be able to work something out. I've imported two Z3s before, so i know about the process...mostly. I was going to wait until I sold one of my cars, but it seems like you're offering a pretty good deal :).

Transport Canada has changed some relatively major rules a few times already, so if I'm not the one who tries to import it, I'd advise your prospective buyer to check the whole process with them and not rely exclusively on what people have posted here on bimmerforums.

Some of the changes are the $500 (some have reported it down to $350, but last time I called and checked myself it was still $500) recall clearance letter. An admissibility letter is now separate despite the fact that transport Canada has a list of admissible vehicles :mad... which cost about $130. Day time running lights and out-of-province inspection must now be preformed by the dealer (so no more saving money by getting the module from leatherZ and doing it yourself)... $180 for the part, not sure what they charge to put it in for you or do the inspection. Plus (and this is really irritating), they will no longer refund the GST on Z3s with the WBS vin code (yes, I know they are all assembled in SC). I know this is irritaing news, but I assume it would really piss someone off if they bought it without knowing all the fees.
