They look great on E34s so I think they'd look awesome on E24s. Plus they're styled after Alpinas so that gives you some idea if they'd look good on an E24 jbd5015 03-19-2008, 10:07 AM do it...definitely one of the best wheel options for the E24. http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e370/jbd5015/IMG_0770.jpg I was lucky enough to have a set included when i bought wolfie! Im going to have all 4 sandblasted and powdercoated in the BMW silver finish at some point... -Jeff e24mpwr 03-19-2008, 11:05 AM I like 'em... Here's the wheels on an M6 I strongly considered buying... http://members.roadfly.com/iam4ecu/six.jpg bmwrep 03-19-2008, 12:53 PM Jeff, that is one nice looking car! My son had a set of wheels that looked much like those on his 01 330i in 17" he was going to give me when his 19" wheels/tires came in. I hated to hear then that nothing from a 3 would fit on a 6 and I hate it more now that I see how nice those wheels look! bimmer freaks 03-19-2008, 01:16 PM Love them, my personal favorite....some guy here has a sig with a white 635 with style 32's....this was my inspiration to put them on my old 635...DO IT! javistor 03-19-2008, 02:12 PM I had those in my M at one point, really liked them but they were a bitch to clean... Euro635CSi 03-19-2008, 02:59 PM If you're going with that style....I think these look better! http://good-times.webshots.com/photo/2896198390099749461YXpgZL http://good-times.webshots.com/photo/2896198390099749461YXpgZL detroit635csi 03-19-2008, 03:41 PM mine are like a cross between 32s and alpinas, the 32s are a great look for the car... or maybe those throwing stars in the other thread.. those are really sick too sixseries 03-20-2008, 12:24 AM i thought they'd look great as well! i knew those looked familiar jeff! awesome i was hoping to see a couple examples as well. Now i just gotta find them! dm635 03-21-2008, 01:05 AM Had them on for a while. Really like the look. Then I came across a set of Alpinas. detroit635csi 03-21-2008, 01:13 AM theres a huge wheel place in michigan that does replica style 32s they look good, and you will save a little bit of bank... i think its called lake shore wheel and tire or something... google it.. they have a website... sixseries 03-21-2008, 01:35 AM Had them on for a while. Really like the look. Then I came across a set of Alpinas. lol nice. what ya do with them :) jbd5015 03-21-2008, 10:23 AM im pretty sure he traded them straight up for the alpinas. not sure what 640csi is up to now though. I thought a little while back he was trying to sell all the 6er stuff he had on ebay. -Jeff wokke 03-21-2008, 10:47 AM I had those in my M at one point, really liked them but they were a bitch to clean... a bitch to clean? :stickoutt You never obviously had 3-piece BBS RS then :) jbd5015 03-21-2008, 11:34 AM I dont find the 32s that bad to clean really. I just use a cotton glove on my hand and just scrub with my fingers. Goes pretty quick if you ask me... I think bottlecaps are harder to clean by far, and i wouldnt want to clean the BBS wheels at all haha... -Jeff wokke 03-21-2008, 12:09 PM .... and i wouldnt want to clean the BBS wheels at all haha... -Jeff but I bet you wouldn't mind to have a set, right? :) jbd5015 03-21-2008, 12:27 PM absolutely not haha! Ive always liked the look of those wheels on the E24, its classic -Jeff sixseries 03-21-2008, 10:36 PM look at my urrent wheels. those suck to clean. o wait. i dont clean them. javistor 03-21-2008, 11:17 PM a bitch to clean? :stickoutt You never obviously had 3-piece BBS RS then :) I have these now and they are just as bad or worse... dm635 03-22-2008, 12:49 AM lol nice. what ya do with them :) Yep, like Jeff said, it was a straight up trade. Never know what you might get if you only ask. I would like to thank 640csi for making it happen. On the 32's I started with a staggered set, then traded the 2 wider ones and ended up with a matched set including spare. I bead blasted the Alpina's and painted them myself. IMHO, I think the 32's fit the 6 lines very well. ThiagoR 03-23-2008, 11:13 PM I think the BBS Style 5 17" and M Parallel 18" looks perfect on the E24. I have style 5 on my car. =) ttalley 03-25-2008, 04:32 PM I have an 85 635csi. I have the original wheels mounted currently , but I'm l;ooking to upgrade in size and style. Whats the largest I can go without scacrificing performance front and rear? sixseries 03-25-2008, 04:51 PM I have an 85 635csi.
