But true. Last time it was in the rain was in 2006 on a road trip to Massachusetts. It doesn't leave the garage if there is a chance of rain. I am a bit OCD...to say the least.

Fantastic car. I hope you get what you're asking, but it seems hard as of late with the release of the E90/E92. Good luck with the sale!

If I don't get close to what I'm asking, I'll simply trade it in when I pick up my new one next month and take the hit on the trade in. I would prefer that an enthusiast buy the car, but I would much rather have the convenience of a trade in than get lowballed in a private sale.

I am a bit OCD...to say the least.

That's the understatement of the year.

Bump for a properly broken in, meticulously maintained, obsessively cared for, and very low mileage M3. Worth every penny if someone wants an M3 that will be on the road a long time.

Absolutely, nothing compares to purchasing a used car from an owner you can trust. Best of luck to you and enjoy the new car!

That's some interesting logic. I imagine that a lowball private sale will still be more attractive than what the trade at the dealer would bring. I'd love to buy it but I too have no room with 7 cars of my own. Best of luck!

You'd be surprised actually. Additionally, you cannot overlook the wonderful convenience of driving to the dealership in one car and driving home in another car without having to deal with the hassle of a private transaction.

Wouldn't you also see a savings in sales tax by trading in the old car? Something to consider.

Clean looking car. Why does your steering wheel look like the 2006 version b/c I thought the new steering wheel design didn't come in until 2006. And it seems like it's lacking the usual controls on them??

It is the ZCP steering wheel...only has the one button for "track mode." All ZCP's have that wheel.
