I need a drivers steering wheel airbag for a 2000 323 sedan, but I am not having much luck finding them. I have found some for e39 and e38, they look the same, but do you guys know if it will work?

Are you referring to the round air bag found on the three spoked M3, Alcantara, ZHP Perforated, M5, M-Steering wheel? Or the 4 spoked one?

If its the 3 spoked M then the air bags should be interchangeable.

Oh sorry, it is the plain non-sport 4-spoke wheel, with the multifunctions (radio,cruise)

The e46 guys swap between m3 and zhp airbags all the time.

I tried that earlier, and I couldn't find the part numbers, just the diagram. I guess I will take the old airbag over to the junkyard and start comparing.
