Does not flow as well as an M50. If you extrude hone it it will flow better than an M50 mani. I used to have the data somewhere but I can't find it at the moment. It's still nice for a direct, no fuss bolt on.

The m50 has wider ports, but, because of this you lose close to 10hp and 10lbtq in the midrange. While, the schrick is supposed to not lose any power in the midrange and still have close to the same gains up top. If you want to do this and you are going to buy one of those swap kits that evosport or the member from this forum sells for $230+M50 manifold (around $130). Schrick, here 600$ direct bolt on, would be the second option. Plenty of DIY info around. If you do this all your self including supplying any hardware yourself I have heard it only runs under $100.

More tq down lown vs the M50 many. I have the M50 on my other M3 and dyno chart does show the tq difference. For even more flow, you can extrude hone and polish. I have a dyno chart flowing around here somewhere, you can do a search under my user name.

Not to seem incredulous... .. . but can you post a more clear image of the port surface that mates against the head?
I was wondering if anyone has ever installed one of these on an M54?
Forgive me if that is a stupid question, but I have no idea if the intake manifold stud pattern may have changed.
Thanks

How does the inside of this air manifold look? Is it rigid? smooth? I thought if you make the inside of a manifold smooth it loses air density? Effecting low end torque? Am I wrong?
