I've ordered new wheels and tires for my '90 325i convertible, but I hate the idea of just trashing the original 14" bottlecap wheels. I don't want any money for them, I just want them to stay in the BMW "family."

If you have an e30 and could use them, I'll ask the installer to save them (it's a Goodyear dealer at Broward and Andrews Ave in Fort Lauerdale, right downtown). I'll leave your name with the dealer and you can drive by and pick them up.

The wheels are in excellent shape, virtually no curb rash at all, and pretty clean with brand new BMW logo roundels on the caps. The tires are just generic off-brand 195/65s, but they have about 70% of their tread left.

I'm anticipating they will be available by this coming weekend. Let me know. I'll offer them to the PM with the earliest timestamp after I post this.

hmm, interesting. I have a 91 Volvo 240 that takes 185/70 stock, I'm sure 195/65 would fit. Would you be offended if its not going to an E30 (I'd have to pull the tires off the wheels)? I used to own an E34, thats close, right?

If you want them to go to an E30 owner, I totally understand. I just don't want to see them wasted either :)

hooRAH it is then. Sounds like you'll still have the wheels left to deal with, perhaps someone here has an interest?

Hey buddy, hohRAH got the nod earlier as the first to respond...good luck, I'm pretty sure they turn up on Cralgslist for cheap pretty often!

See above, I'd count them as taken. Best of luck to all, this kind of sourcing is like grass-roots recycling, I think it's one of the fun parts of caring for an old car.

My new wheels are supposed to arrive today, hooray!
