I got some... pulled out of my 96 e36 M3 <96K miles, swapped with Shricks.

I hear you guys like these things.. They're pretty dang heavy! Think we're going to have to get some kind of sturdy packing tubes for shipment.

If we need some pics, no prob. Can get some tomorrow. A bit about the motor - pretty freakin amazing how clean it was when they yanked it out. I had assumed that there would have been some type of sludge :dunno inside the head. It was amazing how clean and golden brown everything was - devoid of sludge.

I've had the car since 2000 w/ 21K miles on it, second owner. Oil changes are riggorous and always on time with this motors favorite Mobil 1 5w-30..yum.

Taking things down to rebuild. Over the past year the car has been repainted, all the trim replaced, all the plastic, the interior has been gutted so...Top end first, bottom probably the end of the summer.

Take a look at the lobe that, as you can see through my amazing tallent ;) I have circled.

It is pretty light, but not something that can be scraped off. Only on one lobe. Again, motor wasn't money'd, blown, destroyed :dunno

But, it's visible. If I need to send high rez pics for further investigation let me know.

That's not a lobe anyway. That's a journal with some minor scouring. Dress it with some emery cloth and stick em in.
