Hi guys,

my SMG gearbox is giving me troubles.
It keeps throwing codes, E1/E2/E3 etc.

I've ordered a cable so i can read out the ecu of the car, but am not sure if I will be able to reset SMG codes.

I'm thinking of just replacing the SMG gearbox with a manual one, where can I find a good source of information with regards to this swap.
What needs to be done to the electric system etc.

I have searched the forums but can't find anything usefull.....

i heard that others can use those 6-speed from both e46 330i and m3
but i opted for a e36 m3 6-speed instead...just simple plug and play
