Hey guys ,

my friend has a 1998 528i motor with 119000 miles all highway miles on it. synthetic oil all of its life. The only problem with it is the vanos is broken. I do not know what all is broken in the vanos but that is all i can see from the pictures. I am trying to sell the motor as a whole but will part out if there is no interest for the whole motor.

price is def. negotiable at 1000 obo.

how much and would you be willing to sell just the bottom end?

^^ for right now were trying to sell it as a whole if that doesnt work then yes we will.

If he takes the top can i have the head? And is it dual vanos?

As long as there are no cracks in the head I would buy the head. That gives you a buyer for the top and bottom end. I would also buy the HFM and possibly the rest of the air intake. Let me know. Thank you.
