Some of you know already that I bought this a while ago.
http://gizmodo.com/gadgets/gaming/porsche-911-playstation-3pc-steering-wheel-305823.php
Some of you also know that I have been putting my M3 back to stock.

So... in the meantime... while my Recaro seats are out of the car and waiting to be put in the next car, I was thinking about making a gaming chair so I can use that wheel in a more driver oriented setup to play my Gran Turismo in. I mean... after trying out the setup for GT5 Prologue they had at SEMA... I would love to have a similar setup at home.
Was wondering if anyone would like to help me make this.
Gotta buy a bunch of wood or metal or whatnot to build this.
If anybody can help me put this together (since I'm not that great at carpenter work), I'll buy you lunch and let you borrow the chair and steering wheel for a month to try at home yourself (providing, you have a PS3 to play it on).

Do you have plans, drawings or something?

Very True. Plus, it will be the next item on the "things HJ needs to sell" list as soon as she sees you getting so much enjoyment from it. After all, shouldn't you be nesting?

I'm not sure exactly...
When I bought the steering wheel, it came with drilling templates for the steering wheel.
That's pretty much all I got....
I'm not even sure if I'll be making it out of metal or wood or both.
Just a thing I've been considering...

making a little wood "table" that you could attach the wheel to would be pretty easy and then just slide the seat next to it, or however

If your going to be at the night meeting on Wed, we can try to get an idea about what you want. Then I can tell you if I would be able to help you with it. And I would not need to borrow it.

Don't get married then you won't have [anyone with whom] to share [your life.]

Personally, I'd rather take my chances.

HJ,
It is not all bad, I enjoy being married. Marriage is all give and take, so both of you just have to establish the boundaries early, before it is to late and becomes the norm.
