I stopped by one of the local dealerships on Saturday to pick up a few miscellaneous items to replace while I install my new transmission in the E39 528iT on Sunday.

Lo and behold, they had just unloaded two 135i's and one 128i from the truck.

One was red (don't remember the name of the red) with "lemon" leather interior, one was black with black interior...

The build your own web page shows both the taupe leatherette and taupe Boston leather with matching trim and carpeting, not the contrasting colors shown in the images.

Thanks for posting these pics as my 135, though still on the boat, is externally configured exactly as that in your photos.:alright

There are only three colors for the door/dash trim and carpeting - Black, taupe and gray.

So if anyone orders a leather color outside of those three (such as coral red, lemon, or terra), it comes in the two-toned fashion you see there using black trim everywhere else.

Just drove the 128i today. Didnt get a 135 yet, but there is an e90 m3 sitting in my bay.

The 1 is awesome to drive, very tight and nimble. You can really toss it around. The n54 does okay, but I was driving an auto and didnt even have sport package. Im sure the 128 with a 6 speed and sport pack will be a great car though if you dont want to spend 40k on the 135.
