Just wanted to see if the folks at DDM were interested in doing a GB for HID fog lights? I'm in the need of new fogs, as my passenger side went out, but don't want halogens, would rather get HIDs, if possible.

Not interested in any other vendor's product, but if DDM had anything that was available, that would be great. May be, we can get a list going on, and see if people are interested.

HIDs need to be retrofitted into the fog light housing. I don't think it'd be profitable for DDM to have to assemble the kits, seeing as how there is still a significant amount of work for the end user to complete the retrofit.

Don't know too much about lighting but what would be the problem with buying one of their 35w H1 kits for the fog lights (with some wiring instructions)...Is the bulb too long? Wouldn't you be able to take a dremel to the base holder for the bulb and make it fit?

I brought a new Apexcone foglight set with 6k 35w hid from Chris at Understeer. All I had to do was swap out the lights. Everything was preinstalled and install was quick and easy. Its more pricey than just a hid kit. But, the time savings accounts for some of it. Just my $.02. Peace. PG

How much was the kit? If it's not that bad and saves on the labor, I'm in for one, I have a broken fog light anyway. Let me know. Thanks.

Hello All, I just wanted to respond and let everyone know we are working on this. We do have great deals on Fog lights and offer HID's to fit into all fogs with a Plug and Play application no retrofitting needed. Just remove the old halogen bulb, install our HID bulb and find a place to mount our tiny ballast and you are done! We have HID's for only $110 and Fogs from $45. Thanks for your interest!

Dra6on45...I got my new set, landed here in Hawaii, for $175.00 total....to me that was a killer deal! Out here, we always pay more for shipping. Anyway, as mentioned before, 6k 35w hid fogs with slim ballasts at that price....cool beans!

Also, as mentioned by APXDDM, $155.00 plus whatever the shipping costs are. Its not mentioned, but I would think the pricing listed includes everything.....lights,brackets,pnp,etc....mine was just a simple swap out n connect up.
Peace. PG
